On our honeymoon, we will set out into the clear, crisp waters of the Indian Ocean and participate in a snorkeling experience like no other. We will visit some of their favorite snorkeling sites where we might spot turtles, sharks and possible even a manta ray.

This excursion is truly romantic. We will be dropped off on our own deserted island and walk hand in hand across an empty beach, or relax in the shade of a whispering palm tree. As the waves gently lap at our feet, we will explore the wonderful coral garden and enjoy each other’s company in complete peace.

With this excursion, we will escape to a world of romance on a beautiful tropical island. There, we will sunbathe on a pristine beach, chill under the shade of tropical greenery, and share a lavish picnic on the sand. This is the ultimate romantic and relaxing experience for us on our honeymoon.

Built in November 2011, Our Beach Suite offers us prime beachfront living on the main beach. Our luxurious suite includes two private plunge pools set in landscaped gardens to give the luxurious options of chilling out in the pool just steps from the comfort of the villa. The sun-filled living room with floor-to-ceiling windows is glorious and two outdoor garden-bathrooms with a courtyard, fountain, bathing pavilion and open-air shower take us away to a tropical paradise. Our Superior Water Villa offers us all the pleasures of a Water Villa in yet more luxurious surroundings with a bed that faces directly towards the ocean and a whirlpool on the sun deck. Facing the sunset, making a sundowner cocktail in the evenings is an absolute must for us on our honeymoon. Set on stilts over the water, Our Premier Water Villa was built in 2011 and features high-tech gadgets such as a 50-inch plasma screen TV, designer furniture and an outdoor sundeck with a large infinity pool. Inside, the mood is contemporary chic with whitewashed walls and sloping ceilings showcasing a selection of artworks by Maldivian artist Eagan Badeeu. In the center of the room is a king-size ‘floating’ bed, while in the bathroom is an incredible sunken bathtub surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows. Here, we will expect indulgences such as caviar for dinner, while the four-course lunch menu offers lighter fare.

We will dine al fresco and enjoy a nine-course menu of Japanese delights in the Koko Grill Restaurant, undoubtedly one of the most romantic dining venues on Rangali Island. The open-air Koko Grill will offer us one of the most show-stopping dining experiences available at Conrad Maldives. Here, we will discover modern a la carte Mediterranean fine dining with a wine recommendation for each dish. This restaurant is a definite must-do for us on our honeymoon.

Steps from the pool on Rangali Island, The Quiet Zone is an open-air tented lounge on the beach with a fully stocked bar and tempting lunch and dinner menu. Comfy romantic daybeds set on the beach, chilled out music and the dazzling water create the backdrop to The Quiet Zone, making this an excellent place for us to dine and make a toast to the rest of our lives together.
